“SEMINAR FOR FARMERS” within the framework of the project “PREVENTION OF RISK FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION”
Trakya University Rector Project Coordination Implementation and Research Center and Black Sea Institute Association carried out the project titled “Prevention of Risks for Sustainable Development of the Region” under the INTERREG-IPA Bulgaria-Turkey Cross-Border Cooperation Program was organized “Seminar for Farmers” event in Edirne on 30 April – 1 May 2018. The authorities from the Project leader partner ‘Blakc Sea Institute’, farmers from the Burgas region of Bulgaria, Project team from Trakya University and farmers from the Edirne region, Turkey attended the seminar.
The meeting which started with the opening speech of Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Emre ATILGAN continued with the thanks of Bulgaria Project Coordinator. The first part of the meeting included the assessment of ecological and technological risks and risks for farmers in the Burgas, Yambol and Haskovo Regions of the Bulgarian expert team.
The first part of the meeting was completed with the presentation of Turkish experts about the Edirne and Kırklareli region’s farmers risks and assessment methods. The seminar ended with a city tour followed by general evaluations on Tuesday, May 1st.
